Sorrento Italian Restaurant is a true Italian Restaurant Sorrento has been at the Countrywood Shopping Center for years. It's Italian food is good. My favorite is Veal Dore. My husband loves their eggplant parmesan. We usually order one full dinner and share the minestrone soup, salad and ice cream dessert. It is an old fashion Italian meal with several courses. A paper placemat shows Italy's major cities- Italian music is played - wine is served and you are off on a short trip to Italy. Serving Lunch and Dinner.

Had an order of the Vegetarian Pizza (~$23): mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, tomatoes, and artichoke hearts (instead of onions). Also had an order of the Calzone (~$10): mushroom and black olive wrapped in a warm, doughy crust. Food was delicious, staff was authentic, and the ambiance was rich (live music Tu-Sa 7-9 PM)!

Authentic Italian, Authentic Ambiance – There aren't enough words to describe this restaurant. This place beats all other Italian eateries in Walnut Creek due to it's attention to detail and great food. The food itself seems like it's taken all day to make in an Italian kitchen then shipped to the States in record time. I especially love their breads and salads which are a perfect compliment to their hand-crafted meals. The service is great too! If you're ever in Walnut Creek, you must experience this place!
