Dr. Sorenson is listed as In-Network for my insurance and he claims to accept it, only to find out after my visit that 'my diagnosis is not covered' so I am forced to pay the full amount. This is very deceptive on their part as I was under the assumption that at least part of my visit would be covered by at least an in-network discount.

I've seen Dr Andrew Sorenson twice for laser treatment for my glaucoma. He was patient and reassuring about the procedure, which was quicker than expected and painless. I am about to have him perform cataract surgery. He offered an alternative to the usual follow up antibiotic eye drops which was a concern. The best news was that the surgery will mean no more glaucoma in that eye! He doesn't listen and his office staff is patronizing. Even when I told him I needed both eyes to be corrected for distance to see comfortably, he insisted that correcting one eye for close and one for distance would be better for me. After a long association, looking for a new ophthalmologist.
