Hands-Down the Best, Most Honest Tailors in NYC – These tailors were recommended to me by my truly fabulous friend in the fashion business about 3 years ago as the best tailors in NYC. I love this place! – I have been bringing my own and my teen daughters' clothes for alterations ever since another garment district business referred them to me over 4 years ago. It's worth it to bring all my stuff in from NJ due to their reasonable price and quality work. The sisters are very pleasant to work with and they are able to turn the wok aound in a very short time. I won"t go anywhere else!

Best shop in town – I am a petite women, so all my clothes especially pants have to be altered, if not torn apart and made to fit. Sorrelle has done amazing alterations to everything I bring in. I am so happy I have found them. They are reasonably priced, courteous, wonderful women. I lug my sister dresses in for alterations and she lives in Pennsylvania. I highly, highly recommend them. Great Work – I've used them a few times to alter my shirts and suits. Then my gf used the alter her bridesmaid dress. She loves them now :-)

My "GO TO" Tailors – I found them four years ago when I needed some pants altered, timeless and affordable, they have become my "go to" for any mending, alterations or sample making both personal and professional.

One of the Best – I purchase all my dresses through sample sales, so they need to altered. I prefer to go to a dress maker rather than the local dry cleaners, and these ladies are the best at what they do. I took a couple of dresses there and one dress they were able to reconstruct the whole thing. I was very pleased. One time they even recommended that I not shorten the straps on a dress, because it would not look right. My fiance goes there too. Wonderful! – I took an evening gown to them to have taken in and shortened. They were wonderful! They fixed my dress in a very short amount of time and the price was extremely reasonable. The dress fit perfectly when they were finished. I highly recommend Sorelle! They are 2 very sweet women and very talented tailors!

TERRIBLE JOB – I brought a dress to Sorelle to be altered. The dress fit well but was a few years old and I wanted it to be made shorter and straight (as opposed to A-line). I didn't think it was a difficult job and I was not told otherwise. I needed the dress for a Sunday wedding taking place over two weeks down the road and was told to pick it up at noon on the Saturday prior to the wedding. my fav tailor – I get all my work clothes tailored at Sorelle's. They are always courteous and consistently do a wonderful job. I highly recommend them!!
