Not the Best In Town I've had some very good manicures and pedicures at this salon but I've had some very bad ones too. I don't like if I've made an appointment for a pedicure and there are already people in the chairs so they pull out the little foot bath that people have in their homes. Great Salon! I went in today to get my eyebrows and lip threaded. Kim was very friendly, welcoming and patient. I was nervous, as I have never had my brows done professionally. She took her time and listened to my concerns and wishes. She did an excellent job and it was relatively painless. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have a scar through one of my brows and it is always crooked and she was able to even them both out, I look like a whole new person! Long time happy client I have been getting manicures and pedicures at Sophisticate Salon since November of 2006. The quality of the work is excellent and Kim's staff always tries to do the little extras to make you feel welcome and pampered. They are always trying new products and keep up with trends and styles. The salon is always clean and the seating is very comfortable. Lisa
Okay...but disappointing I have been to this place 3 or 4 times now and I really want to like it. The owner, Kim, is super nice and wants you to feel like a valued customer. The problem is, the service otherwise (after I get handed off to someone else) has been mediocre at best. I have waited a long time on more than one occasion while they seemed to have plenty of time to chit-chat with other regular customers.
