Absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon. I’ve been doing my nails over 20 years for work. My original location had closed down years ago, so I just stopped. I've really debated leaving this review, so I want to preface by saying my brother's manicure did go flawlessly; he was extremely happy with the attention to detail from his nail tech. I also want to say that I'm happy with the overall look of my nails, but I'm a little concerned. The gentleman who did my nails nicked the skin around my nails on 5 different fingers, causing barely visible but remarkably painful scrapes. Pedicure was good until I was wondering why my big toe was in so much pain she rubbed so hard getting off deadskin i had two open cuts on the big toe. It was so painful couldn't wait to get home to take pain medicine.
I stopped by Sophie's nails on my lunch. I work nearby, and although I have a salon I patronize in my hometown, this location is convenient. I get a regular manicure every week & a pedicure every 2 weeks at my usual place, but wanted to see how this nail salon compared. When you enter the shop, there is a sign with the pricing. There is also a spa menu with pricing. However, Holly told me the manicure is "$20 now, bc all prices have gone up since covid. We are waiting on a new updated board with the correct pricing."
