During my first visit with Dr. Mathews , he and his staff were courteous, respectful, and attentive to my symptoms. Based on his review, I made an appointment for an upper GI endoscopy within the week. The procedure was performed in a timely manner, it went well, and he came to the recovery room afterwards to discuss his findings. I was impressed with his expertise, knowledge, and willingness to explain his conclusions and present me with a written report and outline of next steps.
This is the worst doctor I have ever been to after receiving my diagnosis of pancreatitis he was done with me. He would not return my phone calls I was in the hospital for pancreatitis attack and he did not visit or respond and when I finally got an appointment at his office to find out what sort of treatment that I needed for my pain he told me he didn't have any prescription pads so he can give me any narcotics. The problem is I never asked for any narcotics I just asked what is our plan.
Terrible office staff, no follow up.
