I have been going to Dr. Sontag for over 14 years. He delivered all of my children, I honestly wouldn’t trust any other doctor. I continue to see him and always refer other people to him.
Dr. Sontag just performed an outpatient procedure for me yesterday. Today I'm recovering well. I'm pleased that his first recommendation was a non-invasive treatment instead of rushing to surgery. But as the treatment wasn't successful, surgery was required. Dr. Sontag was quick to understand the presenting problem and diagnosed correctly. Being new to Pensacola, I feel blessed to have found a doctor that listens and takes the time to understand me and provides the care I need.
Office changed a lot in the last few years as well as Dr's bedside manner. Will not be back!!!
He was a good dr up until the end of my pregnancy with my 2nd child. He started pushing for an induction at 39 weeks. I had no problems what so ever throughout my pregnancy so induction was not medically necessary. He changed my due date up a week at 10 weeks because the baby measured bigger so when I was 41 weeks he could only talk about a potiton induction and didn't offer any more natural ways of going about it like a membrane sweep. My 41 week ultrasound showed my baby weighing almost 10lbs
Amazing 1st visit with Dr. Sontag. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and explains diagnosis and answers any questions. Glad to have him as my new dr.
He has delivered both of my babies. He provides excellent care. He genuinely cares about his patients.
Dr Sontag delivered both of my daughters by c-section successfully! He is an amazing doctor and made both pregnancies and deliveries feel comfortable. I am a worry wart when it comes to being pregnant and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Truly and amazing doctor!!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Sontag for 8+ years. He's an amazing doctor. He's always been there for me whenever I needed him. He listens to everything I have to say/ask. He has always given me the best advice. I had an emergency D&C and an embolization on July 5, 2016 and I really wanted my doctor (Sontag) to be there but he couldn't. He did come later that morning showing how much he cares. I could say more about him but just know that you can't go wrong with Dr.Sontag...he's the BEST!
This experience with Dr. Sontag has been wonderful. The staff is very courteous and he is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything so I never leave with questions. The wait time for afternoon appointments can sometimes take over and hour, but sometimes he has to run to delivery or he has had patients that may have needed more questions answered. I never minded waiting because I can appreciate a doctor who never made me feel rushed when answering my questions or concerns.
