We chose Dr. Sontag as my Obgyn due to complicated medical history which would required me to have a csection. He took the time to answer any and all of my questions. I never felt rushed through an appointment even though I know he is super busy. You can tell he is very knowledgeable about what he does but also genuinely cares about not only the wellbeing of mom and baby but also making sure you as a mom feel comfortable going into your birth!

Sontag isan excellent doctor! Ihave been with him over 30 years. He has always been thorough, friendly, concerned, professional and very accommodating.
I had no issues with Dr. Sontag in my prenatal care, other than occasionally feeling like he didn’t remember our convo from the weeks before- I talked about inductions since the first appt, then in week 37 we scheduled it. In week 38 he asked if I wanted natural or induction (which I initially thought was a joke) and I told him I wanted natural but we had scheduled an induction. Dr. Sontag has delivered all 4 of my babies and he’s always had the best bedside manner. He always answers my questions with care and showed much compassion after my last had to go to the NICU. He never rushed out of the OR but took his time to explain what I could expect. I will always recommend him to anyone looking for an OBGYN.
