The Sons of Essex menu is a reflection of the diverse melting pot of cultures that has gentrified the Lower East Side. The old school ‘Bowery Boys’ atmosphere and ‘Gangs of New York’ vibe pays homage to the history of the Lower East Side, fusing a traditional american comfort food menu with a diverse range of spices of Lower East Side immigrants past with the use of local ingredients and Essex Street Market fruits & vegetables.

First time there the food was awesome the music was so lit. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Great beers, food, service and awesome old skool hip hop tunes all night. 👊🏼
If you want to experience a real new York atmosphere with amazing food and drinks go to Sons Of Essex. The service team is excellent too.
One of my favorite brunch spots in the city. The place always delivers on its reputation. Love it!!
My friends and I had a great experience here. Food, Drinks, and Service is a well deserved 5 Stars. Sons of Essex has a cool vibe. I will definitely come back next time I'm in NewYork...
The service was very good and the ambiance and decor are nice. However the mixed drinks were very light on spirits, especially for a Manhattan establishment with $15 cocktails. Neat drinks were overpriced by $2-3. They sell casamigos reposado neat for $17 while Jajaja just down the street has it for $15.
Sons of Essex has a 4.2 star rating with 912 reviews.
