I have used several bike shops in the North Phoenix area for about 10 years. Sonoran Cycles in Glendale has been the best shop so far by leaps and bounds. They are always friendly and knowledgeable when you call them. Their mechanical work has been top notch...always, no exception. They can do almost any type of repair, even the most complex ones. Just drove down to the valley to try and buy a new bike. Pull up and the store front is closed with the roll down security door down. I call and tell them I'm out front and wondered if they were open. He tells me they are and asked what I need. I tell him I was looking for a SC Hightower or something comparable. He said he didn't have the exact SC I want but had a comparable carbon frame Giant Trance. That was it, he wouldn't even invite me in to look at it. I walked in looking for a mountain bike and rode out on a new Giant Trance Advanced 2. I didn't know anything about mountain bikes but knew I wanted a quality bike. I have spent many years on a road bike and wanted to venture into the mountain bike world. Extremely friendly, quick service, and knowledgeble. Great customer service! We've been in a few times for a few minor things and have been told 'no charge'. We are new to cycling and went into another bike shop before we found Sonoran Cycles and were greeted with an attitude and an unhelpful owner. Sonoran Cycles is not like that in the slightest bit. They are in the neighborhood too, which is greatly convenient. Definitely the only shop we'll be going to!
