I gave Steve a $500 deposit to hold a boat after we agreed on a sale. He later refused to sell me the boat, and I never received my $500 deposit back. The boat is still listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace. I ended up with neither the boat nor my deposit. This was my experience, and I would be very cautious before giving this seller or business a deposit. 🥴
