Went to Sonny's which isn't a new occurrence. I got ribs and my husband got all you can eat ribs. When I was finished eating and so was my son we asked for a box. The waitress told us no because my husband was still eating. So our $50 worth of food sat there while we fought off flies waiting on my husband to finish. The waitress was very rude and instead of the normal 30 min we spend it took a whole hour because the waitress kept making my husband eat all his ribs before she would put in the reorder. Took my family out to eat today, me and my mom both ordered all you can eat ribs. My mom had just ordered a refill of ribs and they were sitting with her, next to the rest of her food. I asked our waitress whose name I can't remember but it started with L, if I could also have a refill of ribs. She told me flat out no, that she wouldn't bring any since there was already an order on the table. My mom told her "those ribs are mine, not hers, she wants another order". Even though I went in at 20 min before closing it was still great food and great service.
About the best bbq I have had. I had a pulled pork sandwich. Wow was it terrific!!
Absolutely love their bbq! We got the Family Feast platter and the serving sizes were huge! More than enough for four people. Not to mention, we got our food super fast. And our waitress was so friendly. (:

First timers at Sonny's BBQ on Wed., March 2, 2016. Food was excellent, as was the service and the atmosphere. My fiancé and I are not from the Corbin, Kentucky area, but every time we roll through we will definitely eat there!! FIVE STARS!!

Ate lunch at Sonny's in Corbin, KY today. First time in Sonny's. Food was unbelievable. My server was Shannon. I can't say enough about how polite, knowledgeable about your establishment she was. Always a smile. Hope all your servers are as great as Shannon. I will be frequenting your restaurant more. Thanks for the great experience.
