Love this place. My truck will not go past KY I-75 X29 without stopping. I found a Sonny's hat years ago before I even got my CDL and wondered if I would ever get the chance to try it. First time going south on I-75, there it was. Been stopping every chance I get ever since.
The food was amazing! No wait to get in on Valentine's Day. All in all a great evening. My husband and I thought we might see a good fight between the waiters and waitresses! Lol Every time they passed each other they were "shoulder checking" one another. Really, that would have been entertainment at it's finest! We will be back every time we get a chance!
Better than Famous Daves! I wish we had Sonny's back home! Could use a bar though. Hehe.
The food here was terrific. I had the sonny sampler, i think it was called. Shana was an awesome server.

The brisket was good and juicy if I'm laid over here again on a weekend I definitely will be back
Absolutely amazing meal! Great southern smoked food at great prices! Lovely family friendly environment. Loved the ability to choose the BBQ style sauce you wanted at each table! If you have a hankering for some good ole smoked BBQ check them out! You won't regret it! Will definitely be back!!
