Sonny's BBQ is always a great place to eat, the food is wonderful, reasonably priced and the portions are large. Even more than that, the employees are always courteous and seem to be happy that we are there! Sonny's is also a great member of our community, very involved and always willing to lend a hand where they can! We have used their catering services several times and it is just as good as in the restaurant. Never had a problem!!
Food was good and the service was good>>>We drive about 50 miles to eat at Sonny's.
Service was horrible!!!! Waitress acted as if we were imposing on her by asking for two separate checks when we ordered. Then she took forever to bring our salad plates so we could go to the salad bar. We went to the bar to see if another server would get us salad plates and our waitress yelled at us in a hateful voice from her station and said "ive got to get this all punched in before i can get your salad plates". When food came the fries were old and brown colored. Total disaster! !!!!!!
Worse experience ever at a Sonny's BBQ. We will not be going back to this Sonny's. Poor management.
The worst Sonny's I have ever eaten at. They were out of pulled pork, sweet potatoes AND there grill was broken and had been for a week... so no garlic toast. I will never go back to this Sonny's again.
Our order never came so after about 35 to 40 minutes we asked about it. Sever then told us that she forgot to turn our order in. When we got our order....it was wrong. So after we got our order we noticed more people having to wait. Now that being said they had a lot of help so that wasn't the problem. Poor management was the problem. Will not be going back & will not recommend this place to anyone!
We went to Dubs High On The Hog in Calhoun hoping for some good BBQ . We were sadly disappointed. So yesterday we went to Sonny's and OMGOODNESS that was the best tasting BBQ ever!! The waitress was nice but not always on top of us. She made sure we had everything we needed, kept our glasses filled and left us to enjoy our food and conversation. We will of course go back time and time again.
