RecommendedLast Sunday was my first visit, I've never been to a service before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was impressed with it. It had a nice home feeling to it and the sanctuary had a relaxing atmosphere with beautiful art and a cozy set up. The teacher was gentle and you can tell she is full of wisdom. The guided meditation and the end of the service was a great way to reflect and soak up what we've talked about earlier. I definitely would recommend and I'm looking forward to go back.

While I haven't been to the center personally, I know Ani Palmo as a Buddhist teacher from an impeccable lineage, whose experience, sincerity, and dedication to bringing this ancient path of awakening into wisdom and compassion authentically to Western seekers is a great inspiration. I feel sure that those who participate at Songtsen Gampo will find real personal benefit in a spirit of joyful engagement.
I discovered Songtsen Gampo Buddhist Center of Cleveland in January 2016 when I took a class with my grandmother. We truly enjoyed the book study of The Good Heart: A Buddhist Perspective on the Teachings of Jesus. I have been a practicing Buddhist for the past 13 years and my grandmother is a Christian. It was a wonderful experience and I have continued to participate in activities such as meditation at SGBC. I am thrilled the center is in Lakewood and I look forward to future programming.
