We arrived after dark and could not find the main office, there are a couple buildings and the sign for the office is not illuminated. Our room was a queen bedroom with a full size sofa bed. The shower curtain rod was curved but instead of curving out, the wall mounts were loose and it curved down. The mattress for the sofa bed was well worn and felt like sleeping on a bag of sticks, lots of things poking at your back. Worst hotel ever. When we booked we said there were 5 adults they only gave us 3 towels and told us we could only get more if we gave them the old ones first. Looked like someone peed on the couch. checkout is at 11 but they turn the keys off at 10. Smelled like smoke as soon as you get in, it was so strong.
Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Room smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. Staff said there was a gym but there was only two treadmills. Asked for extra towels because there was 5 of us and was told we could only have 3 towels at a time. There were hairs on the bed. Was told check out was at 11am and our keys stopped working at 10am. The outside doors that are supposed to be locked were unlocked the whole time. There were stains on the couch that looked like pee stains.
This place is run down and dire need of remodeling. Parking fee is totally ridiculous. Plenty of parking spaces. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment !!!
We had stayed at the Sonesta Suites at Gainey Ranch in the past, but that premium experience comes with a premium price, so we tried the Sonesta Simply Suites on this trip. Traveling with my sister instead of my wife made the two bedroom two queen bed room offering an easy decision to make for under $100/night.
