We booked our stay for 9 nights through Wayfair. I arrive to the hotel a day late. I am an owner of a very busy business so we were forced to run behind a day. When I walked into the lobby I waited in a long line of 6 people. Alyssa was the lady helping people. When the line got to where I was next, she told myself and the gentleman in front of me that the hotel was “Overbooked” by 4 rooms. She said have a seat and she would figure it out. Stayed here for a short trip and overall it was a decent experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was really convenient. There were a few small issues like slightly slow check-in, but nothing major. Staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay.
Staying at this hotel cost me a trip to the emergency room with my 9 month old baby! I requested a crib/pack and play upon check in to the hotel which never arrived to my room. I am also noting that I called a week prior to ensure they have availability as well as calling at 4pm on the day of check in to let them know I would be getting late (around 12:30am) to see if they could place the crib in our room. This was by far one of the most disgusting and unacceptable hotel experiences I have ever had, and I will NEVER stay at another Sonesta ES Suites Laguna Hills Irvine Spectrum again.The worst part was what we found while checking the room before leaving. I was traveling with my mother and my two daughters. My mom thought one of my daughters had left behind a bottle of hair product under the bed.
