You get what you pay for usually but this time was a pleasant surprise as my stay at Sonesta was very nice! I have no complaints. Was it the cleanest place I've stayed? No, could use a deep clean, esp. between mattress and head board, vacuum behind/under tables, etc. But it's definitely not gross by any means. There is a musty smell in some parts of floor 3 and areas needing reno but they are remediating the issue. The pillows are the size of normal hotel pillows. No issues with humidity, no bugs, no credit card Thievery. The indoor pool was nice. Just a normal, clean, comfortable hotel room. Booked it on hotline and then spooked myself with some of the negative reviews. Best I’ve slept in a while.

Stayed here for an early flight out the next morning. It's was overall a pretty horrible experience. The ground floor room we had felt so damp (carpet even felt damp under our feet) and smelled rather musty. It wasn't even raining. We were close to the lobby/pool and there were doors slamming and people talking all night. We barely got any sleep and couldn't get out of there fast enough the next morning. We've had great stays at other Sonestas, not sure what is going on here but I'll never be back.

I like the Sonesta hotels I've stayed in. While there's a little wear and tear here, things are clean and comfortable and staff is friendly. The pool was a nice temperature. The shower had great pressure and heated up quickly. I really like having a mini fridge, extra sink, and microwave.
