The accommodations at Sonesta ES Suites Wilmington - Newark location are spacious and clean. The first room (113)we were in needed appliance repairs. The refrigerator was not sufficiently cold enough to store my medication. The stove was missing a panel. Customer service was woefully and dangerously inadequate. Updated: 07.26.25-- Well I have to reduce the overall stars to 2.5/3 due to cleanliness. The first time we stayed here was in 2024, it was not bad, we stayed in a regular room. This time we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and the first room was filthy (old takeout container behind the bed, visible crumbs on the carpet, what could be either food or excrement on the wall) after waiting for housekeeping to come and clean it, we got a second room that was better. The room i got was super clean and nice. A/C worked great, water pressure good. The front desk people were all very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good but the eggs weren't that good. Stay was overall very good.
