Unfortunately I would like to rate the hotel higher because the staff is very professional and nice. But the walkway going to our door was filthy and look like a years worth of crap was never cleaned. The entire facility needs to be updated renovated and have a deep cleaning.
Rooms are old and dirty
I went to hotel, because I was stranded. Booked one night. Arrived at the hotel ,but wasnt able to check in. I was told by the front desk agent I needed a credit card to put a $ 100.00 dollars on hold. Well since my money was stolen I didnt have the money for incidentals. The accommodations at Sonesta ES Suites Wilmington - Newark location are spacious and clean. The first room (113)we were in needed appliance repairs. The refrigerator was not sufficiently cold enough to store my medication. The stove was missing a panel. Customer service was woefully and dangerously inadequate.
