Hotel is behind a gas station and carwash. It's very loud. I requested to be moved, they only offer rooms with either carwash or has station. Tge description states " quiet neighborhood" chose it over many other hotels in the area. The only thing staff offered was: we can try to give you a better room tge next time...." given the location.....

Had a wonderful experience here at sonesta, big thank you to the front desk attendant that assisted us in our welcome. Miranda was kind, funny and super thoughtful as we walked in with our kiddos. Customer service goes so far, especially nowadays when it's just not what it used to be. Thank you Miranda for being such a wonderful human being! This stay will be one to remember forever, thanks to her efforts and kindness, we will definitely stay here again!

We booked a last-minute suite at Sonesta ES Suites San Diego – Sorrento Mesa when we decided to stay in the area for a second night with our kids, and from the moment we arrived, Miranda at the front desk went above and beyond. She was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating, which instantly took the stress out of traveling with four kids. Later that evening, Miranda continued to impress—helping me with laundry, assisting us with getting water for the kids, and making sure we had everything we needed.
