Girls trip to Savannah. We stayed at Sonder on Ellis Street. The condo is secure and convenient to shopping, restaurants and river street. The condo is beautiful with everything you need. 3 bedrooms with king beds! And each has a private bath. One full bath in the hallway and a sleeper sofa in a room close to the living room. So 4 full baths !
House entrance door was permanently unlocked and the premises didn’t feel secure. Hallway and elevator did smell very bad and the bedroom didn’t have any windows which wasn’t shown on pictures. We left immediately and did not get a single night refunded.
This was a wonderful place to stay! Right on Broughton Street, within walking distance of the entire historic district and Forsyth Park, and plenty of great places to eat. The apartment was spacious enough for 2 people, (could squeeze in two more if necessary) and the kitchen had a lot of helpful appliances. The bed was comfy and the whole place was very clean. This is a very comfortable one bedroom apartment, far superior to any hotel room. Great location. Husband and I really loved it. Only negative is insane level of construction noise, including night construction that went to midnight (seriously!) and shook the whole building with jack hammering. But I don't blame Sonder for other businesses in the building doing construction.
