It was a beautiful & clean studio with a good view. Checking in/out was very easy. Great location. My only complaint is the water pressure for the shower was very light & the water would only be hot for 10mins max until it starts to get cold. I stayed with my gf so i would have to shower at least 2 hours before her so she would be able to shower with hot/warm water.
Went here before and was looking forward to coming back but for some reason our booked room was canceled back in April, we had to find a different hotel that wasn’t as great so it honestly sucks to say that I’m disappointed in Sonder.
What a wonderful idea...to stay in a hotel where rooms are like condos and you only request service if you need it. Oh, I forgot, you enter the building, check in, and access your room by the app on your phone. This is the world of the Sonder. The room had a separate bedroom with a sitting area and a kitchen. I booked a one bed, one sofa-bed apartment. The sofa-bed was badly broken, pictures below, so I asked for a new room that had the two beds I had paid for. They said there was nothing else available so nothing they could do. Fair enough I thought, so I asked to be moved the next day. Nothing happened until 7:30pm when I was out for the night. I got the texts (attached) and was very clear that I could not get back and move my stuff so I would stay where I was. My requests were ignored and I was locked out of my room. When I go... read more
