I loved this place so this is lame. it was the best deal in town. Sonder went out of business abruptly in November 2025, filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and liquidating after Marriott International terminated its licensing agreement, leaving guests stranded and forcing an immediate wind-down of all operations globally. Probably the best value in Detroit. Decent rooms for a fair price right in downtown. The elevator and the rooms were big enough so I could take my rental bicycle up to my room. They have automated checkin - you get a code that you need to enter at the door.
This place went way beyond my expectations. Aramis (spelling??) was an absolute doll and went out of their way to be helpful! 10/10 recommend this spot.
Canceled my reservation and told me I had to leave the next day due to some licensing deal issue with Marriott. Locked me out and I couldn't go back and grab the food that I bought.
