I’ve never been so humiliated by a hospitality brand in my life. My reservation at Sonder North Loop was canceled without real notice, leaving me stranded outside with my bags, in a city where I don’t live, with zero support or urgency from the company. Not even a call to help or place to wait. I was simply left on my own homeless for the night because of their mistake. I just spent 10 days in the Sonder and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were always polite and ready to help. The room was so clean and put together very well. The only issue I had was the shower head was very low but in the end I can always crouch down to fit under it haha. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has never stayed with sonder this was my second one I've stayed in and they have been wonderful experiences the twins field being right there was amazing and there were many parking options. Fantastic building and amenities! But a couple of drawbacks - my room (4th floor) was on the west side of building facing the metrolink station and train bells seemed to be a constant noise. I would not stay here again unless I could guarantee my window did not face the noisy station. Location was great and easy walking to numerous restaurants, offices and of course Target Field. The view of Target Field from the 18th floor common area was great! The Sonder was a really good experience other than the train noise.

Experience here has gotten worse. Now the access to the 18th floor terrace is limited to 10-9, as is the pool. The app clearly says it opens at 9 but front desk staff tell me it changed to 10. I can understand limiting pool hours, but for early risers who want to have coffee outside, or a late night cap, the terrace limitation is a serious bummer. I have stayed here very frequently and these features made it worth the extra cost, but I am less likely to stay here moving forward. Especially as some of the rooms on the train t... read more
