Dr. Yu responded to the hospital doing emergency surgery on my left arm. Dr. Yu has continued care beyond what my wife and I expected. He has provided test results calling us at home. Very patient, kind and understanding (especially toward older adults as is my case). I would recommend him!
Dr. Yu was 75 minutes late for the appointment and appeared only after I hunted him down via reception. His discussion with me was disorganized and when I tried to focus him he was condescending. It was a bad experience
“Dr.” Yu told me I have venous reflux disease but they’re not going to do anything about it. Then he said I can get a compression stocking from Walmart or RiteAid and it’s not “fashionable” but I can wear pants over it. What kind of stupid remark is that? Finally he said that if it gets worse then I can come back. If it wasn’t already getting worse I would not have been there in the first place! No concern for the amount of pain I was in after my surgery, I was shaking so bad from pain it felt like my body would shake apart from pain, Dr Yu, said I was fine and went to get lunch. My daughter found him in the cafeteria and told him he had to do something for me that I was a strong women and I was not faking my pain. Surgery was a success but no excuse for letting me suffer like that. Make sure you Have family with you,
Good doctor but waiting over 2 weeks for a report and plan of action is not only unacceptable but dangerous.
Dr Yu had excellent bedside manner, he remained professional and and was honest with all the possible procedures and diagnostic testing that he was considering to find the root of my problem. After my final procedure was completed, with in 25 min he was at bedside with his plan of care for me. Thank you Dr. Yu for excellent care.
Dr. Yu and his staff are great! Dr. Yu performed VenaSeal on my saphenous veins to correct Venous Reflux Disease. The in-office procedure was painless. After the procedure, I could resume my activities and not have to wear compression stockings. Dr. Yu and his staff were thorough and careful with post-procedure ultrasounds. All staff (accounting, scheduling, front desk, nurses, nurse practitioner, ultrasound techs, and of course Dr. Yu) were kind, patient and knowledgeable.
After a diagnosis of a blood clot in my left leg, Dr. Yu was recommended by both Dr. Dulalia and Dr. Luke Dresibach (both excellent physicians, too). My meeting with Dr. Yu was terrific. He was kind, personable, and explained everything in plain terms for a layman to understand. I highly recommend Dr. Yu.
