I looooove somi somi. Best taiyaki ice cream place I’ve ever had. I always get the upside down taiyaki. This time I tried it with matcha custard filling and ube/earl grey soft serve. I think early grey flavor is overpowering and the soft serve do be pretty (a little too) sweet. Still love it though.
We drove 30 min to try this place. 10:30 pm got there they say it closes 11:00 pm and they already had closed the store 30 earlier. Made us waste our trip🤬
Good desserts. Can get very busy, but it goes fast.
The lack of seating and slow service is such a turn off that I probably won't come back with family. Unfortunate because the ice cream and taiyaki are great.
Came at 7pm (7:02pm to be exact) on August 29. Ordered one soft serve and 5 taiyaki. Figured it take a few minutes and went out for a quick brisk walk. After 5 min came back in. Only two people ordered before us and both were soft serve. The guy at the front seem to have forgotten our order and went back and started our taiyaki. The store wasn't busy at all but I get it.
