Something Horrible Don't bother! The bride felt pushed into a gown that she didn't really like, and then the bridesmaids were all ordered dresses that were WAY too big, and then all had to have over $100 in (shoddy)alterations done (the total cost of the dresses came out to be $400+ each!). They were rude and deceiving... I had finally found a dressed I liked and they gave me all the details, but then when i sat down to pay for it, they throw on all these extra charges that they didn't tell me about in the ample time we had while trying on the dress. Stunning Dresses, So so Service Not going to bad mouth this place because the women were very nice to me and the dresses are honestly gorgeous. I just need to warn brides out there - the alterations here were very rushed. My bridesmaids and I walked away with beautiful dresses but rushed alterations. I would never shop anywhere else! I have been going to this shop for years. I have bought everything from evening gowns to prom dresses and most recently, my bridesmaids and wedding gown. People going there should do their research and understand that you will have trouble spending less that $900 on a wedding gown there. They are a reasonably priced upscale boutique. Wonderful! I had such a great experience at Something Special. Linda one of the owners helped me and was great! She did not pressure me into buying anything. I happened to buy my gown somewhere else, but ordered my bridesmaids dresses through them! The only problem I had was an elder woman they have working for them, she does not know much about the store or the dresses. If you go ask for Linda you wont be disappointed!
Terrible alterations.. terrible service I would NOT recommend this place to any bride that cares about good quality alterations or being treated like a lady. After numerous fitting, the dress still did not fit me as it was supposed to and the seamstress together with the owner of the shop kept insisting that it fit me well. don't waste your time I have never been in a bridal store like this before.. It was actually recommended by a friend, but I can't understand why anyone would even step into this store. First off, their dresses are VERY expensive. You can't look through the dresses yourself. You sit down and they pull out random dresses within your price range. Best Service around! I cannot even say enough good stuff about this place. After going to several places and finding that most places tried to say what I wanted to here, Something Special had special to offer. Their Service!! They did not try to talk me into anything and were so helpful. They were honest and really helped me find what i was looking for. They have been even more amazing on each visit back.
