When my husband and I moved from Greensburg to Somerset area in 2009, we kept our doctor in Greensburg because she was very thorough, patient and compassionate. She closed her practice last fall and we were forced to choose a new doctor. I chose Somerset Family Practice and am so pleased I did. Dr. Lauren Mathias is every bit as thorough, patient and detailed as our former doctor. The staff is pleasant and moves along as quickly as they can. Dr. Nicholson is not to be trusted. He left the exam room, disparaged me to his coworkers, then returned to the exam room acting like nothing happened. I heard everything. I keep my cool and just found another Doctor however it troubled me for weeks. My family had been with the practice for a decade or more. I've spent a lot of healthcare money with SCH. I'm still upset about the way I was treated. It's clear he lacks the emotional competency for leadership.
I see Dr Marcheleovich and am very pleased with her. She is in the Kimberly Avenue office . She is the best family Dr I have ever had. She truly cares for her patients. She usually runs on time and takes her time with her patients. Thank you Dr March for taking great care of me and my family. Glad to have a wonderful family Dr in the area!
Very disappointed in how long it takes to see a doctor. Everytime I go, whether it's walk in or scheduled appt. I'll end up sitting in the waiting room for 1-2 hours. I understand doctors offices can be busy but when you are in physical pain that time is very important to getting relief and feeling better. I wouldn't mind waiting 1-2 hours if it was not a common occurrence but every single time I go, I'm more frustrated with the long wait. Customer service is lacking and I don't recommend wasting your time on this practice.
