RecommendedI don't normally leave reviews but I was absolutely floored by my experience at Sombra yesterday. I have a severe gluten allergy and so it is generally difficult to eat out. However, at Sombra, all the staff knew exactly how to handle it and knew what they were talking about regarding what I could eat (almost everything). I was very impressed by everyone and I absolutely recommend Sombra to anyone with food allergies or otherwise-it's amazing!!
Was in Sombra for the first time on Monday to celebrate my husband's birthday the food was great, no wait to be seated or to receive our food- our server Anderson was excellent!!
Best shrimp tacos in the US! The owner, Mr. D.C.,was super sweet! We will be BACK!
We had a large lunch group and expected a bit of a wait, but some in our group had finished their meal long before the last of us was served (we were there almost 2 hours!). I had the fajitas - the meat was tough as shoe leather. I could not eat the "crunchy" under-cooked rice that was served I was not impressed.
Margaritas are awesome but pricey 11.00. Chips are great but could do without the seasoning. Chiniunga was delicious, beans are horrible needs to be thinner in constancy and pasty and lacks taste. Service was fantastic!
Great food, setting, and service! Everyone in our group had a great time.
