My children and I have attended SOMA co-labs together and my daughters also attended the Emotion Regulation Support Group for kids last summer and they both absolutely loved it. Mel has been so amazing that my kids ask for her! The atmosphere is warm, inclusive and inviting to all, and you feel it instantly. There are no other fully encompassing therapy wellness centers like this in the tidewater region. If you are unsure, or maybe even curious, I highly recommend just starting with a co-lab! You will be thankful you did!!
Soma is a great practice! Their somatic holistic approach to therapy makes their providers a great fit for many and their overall atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive. I really enjoy their Co-Labs for community learning and their niche work addressing religious trauma.
The office is welcoming and beautiful. The staff is warm and kind. Melanie Cena is a very professional, smart, and caring therapist. Highly recommend!
It took me about a year to work up the courage to reach out for help, now 10 months later, I’m so thankful that I did.
