The valet trash service here is inconsistent and frustrating. Items are sometimes left behind, yet residents still receive warnings about “policy violations.” It feels like enforcement is prioritized over actually completing the pickup. If fines are going to be threatened, the service itself should be reliable and consistent. Right now, it does not feel that way.
I moved into Soluna on 5/24 and was offered a generous set of concessions that added up to more than two months of free rent. While the dog wash station and pool are still unavailable due to ongoing construction, management took a positive step by issuing a one-time $500 credit and temporarily waiving trash and internet fees, which are worth about $100 per month. I’ve lived at Soluna for a little over a year, and overall the apartments themselves are very nice. It’s been disappointing not having access to the pool, outdoor kitchen, or golf bays, especially since those amenities were a big part of why we chose to live here. That being said, Soluna has been accommodating during this time by providing free internet and trash service, along with taking a few hundred dollars off our rent, which we really appreciated.
