Abusive scam
The “ therapy” would be better referred to as blatant enabling. This place destroyed my relationship with my daughter and it was completely though allowing her to continue to wallow in dishonesty and manipulation. When I asked her “therapist” why he allowed her to continue to lie, he actually said he had to support her and acknowledged he knew she was lying. My daughter spent 14m at this place and I regret every day of it. I was hopeful at first with all the talk about family therapy and how important it was. It turned out that what was more important, was to enable my daughter to lie and manipulate and now our relationship is forever damaged. The therapist actually told me that he had to support her when I asked him why she was allowed to get away with lying when he knew she was lying. This was a complete therapeutic failure. Solstice staff truly care about you and are kind, loving, compassionate people. I had a great education where I could really succeed and felt no judgment to learn at my own pace. This place gave me so much support, love, healing and skills and also some special, meaningful connections with people.
This place saved my child’s life. I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care they gave her. She is living life to the fullest and doing great. She was able to get her HS diploma early there and went on to receive a Math degree from LSU and is pursuing a 2nd Fine Arts degree! She had the greatest therapist.
