This company changes policies after you sign the lease and do not disclose information prior to lease signing. Guest parking was free at The Fred in Edina when we signed the lease and were verbally told there is plenty of parking for your guests at no charge. Now the guest will have to pay 12$ a day to park and visit us. If we had known this prior we would of looked elsewhere as they are plenty other apartments who charge less monthly with same amenities in Edina. Renter beware of this company. This company changes their policy after tenants sign lease and did not disclose information prior. Guest parking was free at The Fred in Edina when we signed the lease and now our guests will be charged when coming to visit for more than 3 hours. 12$ for a day! Have been a loyal Solhem tenant in two different buildings for almost a decade and experienced a team that is truly committed to excellence in building design, construction and most importantly, service. They are responsive, caring and honest. Not something I could say about several previous developers or landlords!
We lived in two of Solhem properties, the first was in Uptown, and the second was Borealis in the North Loop. We always had a good relationship with office staff who responded promptly to any concerns. The properties were always kept clean and the cleaning staff were also friendly. Although we are now home owners, they are the only company we would consider renting from. And we still keep in touch with some of the management team.
