This is one of my go-to eateries prior to going to any Staples Center event. (I like to avoid L.A. Live, but this place is only about one block further). They have really good wood-fired pizzas (including one with potato, bacon and a fried egg.) Lots of good apps, as well.
after a long shopping day we all were tired and hungry. my sister suggested to eat at soleto went. it was my first time there but i enjoyed the food a lot. the service was good too. after that we continued to shop.
i've been several times, and have yet to be disapponted by any aspect of the experience - the food has never been anything less than excellent, it's run by an itallian family, who, it seems to me, love running a restaurant, making the service great (stop by once or so weekly and they'll actually remember your name), and it's never overcrowded or noisy, though reservations wouldn't be a bad idea. that said, it's not cheap, but you won't wind up paying $15-20 for an entree if you choose by price. it's one of my favorite local ... read more
