I strongly discourage anyone from getting involved with Tahiti Village or any property managed by Soleil Management. The biggest problem is not the resort itself, but the terrible management practices. My recent experience with Teal Schinkel from Soleil Management’s Resolutions Department shows how poorly owners are treated. From the moment we checked in things went bad I booked for a family celebration & had family flying in from different states to gather here I was assured this was ok & allowed, During check in I was told I was only allowed 8 guests on the property & my guests had to have wristbands on at all times on the property. When I told them the reason for my stay & I had family coming they refused to accommodate & told me I was lied to I had to scramble to find a place to accommodate a large family gathering in less than 24 hours. This was a 1 star until I talked to Allison today. I was gifted a time share last Aug and it took till April to complete. Couldn't get any info about using my time share. Today change my opinion. After Allison spent an hour (she was admitted about staying on the phone until all my questions were answered). She was so kind and patient. Very informative. We are incredibly disappointed with our experience at Tahiti Village. When we reached out to them about canceling our timeshare, we were told they don’t even have the license to handle cancellation requests. This was shocking and frustrating to hear from an organization that should provide proper support to its members. On top of that, their solution was to suggest we try selling the timeshare.
