I use my solavore oven as often as 4 times a week. The food tastes better, it requires less of my attention than standing at a stove and it gives me great pleasure to keep a few more of my dollars from going to the coal burning plant that produces my electricity.
Truly one of my best investments! Everything I have cooked has come out perfectly. Living in sunny Las Vegas, this is SUCH a smart tool. I have already recommended to the rest of my family. Thanks for the great product!
I use my solar ovens several times each week for food prep to cook beans and grains, to make soups, stews, casseroles and anything else. You can't burn food in it, so I load up the oven before heading to work and when I come home, dinner is basically ready!
We received our oven about a week ago and then it decided to rain every day since. But today... The sun came out! Today we got to use our oven! Pork loin and baked potatoes. We left it out all day 9-5. I think it only made it to 225... But everything was perfect! Can't wait to try all of the recipes. The sun did all of the work. We had a hot dinner and a cool galley/salon on our boat. Love!!
I Love using my oven to prepare meals ,you don't have to wait for the food as it cooks for it doesn't require turning nor does the food burn ,the food is always delicious and healthy.You can carry your oven to the farm and enjoy a meal after a hard day job,camping.The oven saves on time,fuel and money.My eyes and chest don't hurt from smoke ,I have time for my nails for the pot are easy to clean.
My wife and I love our solar oven! We've had muffins, roasts, stews, and other great meals. We use it a lot in the summer to avoid heating up the house using the oven. We've used it in the winter just for fun and it still works great as long as the reflectors are on. We had one small issue with the oven received, but I received great customer service and was able to get the issue fixed no problem.
I love my solar oven ! I am going to order another one really soon!
