Food was good, and the wait person well schooled on describing each dishes' unique wonderfulness in the scheme of Southern Italian cuisine. Portions were typical for continental entrees. The service was robust to almost aggressive when we first arrived until we ordered, and drinks and bread provided, then spotty and difficult to attract a server's attention for refills or more bread between deliveries of our entrees. I found the inattentiveness to be the only detraction. Decor was beautiful, quiet and intimate.
We loved Solare ! Our waiter Bill was attentive but not overly. We were seated I the private wine room. Our meal was fantastic. You deserve to treat yourself here !
Petra, the manager, is just the best. If you have a group meal, go to Solare. The food was awesome as well. Service was excellent. I just cant say enough. Solare is our new San Diego Favorite!!
Amazing hand made pasta, service is great. Perfect atmosphere. Love this place our new go to Italian.
Been to Solare several times and their food is top notch! Great atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely a favorite spot!
