I was a patient at the Ventura office of Solar Urgent care for the first time today. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Family Nurse Practitioner Laureen Berry gave me her full attention and did not rush me in any way. She offered choices for treatment and explained them in a clear and concise way. Highly recommended!
I unfortunately had an allergic reaction to a face lotion while traveling to Ventura. Being from Missouri, I was unsure if my insurance would cover me being out of state as well as out of my home hospital network. The front desk staff was very friendly and and checked my insurance so we could see what the copay would be, and if self-pay was cheaper. They were very accommodating! The doc was amazing. Had the best experience here! They took care of my husband right away and actually listened to all his concerns and ran several tests to make sure they understood what was going on. Dr genuinely cared, listened and did not rush the appointment. The staff was so nice that they actually came out to the parking lot to find me while I was waiting in my car to let me know that my husband was ready to be discharged. Best urgent care experience I’ve had.
Professional place and cared about the problems I was having and ran multiple tests to make sure all was good.
Don’t used this Urgent care for a DOT physical I walk into this urgent care and place is dead no patients I fill out the paperwork and took me to the back. And nurse checked my eyes and blood pressure and she didn’t tell me I wouldn’t pass the physical but they took me into room and PA came in and started asking questions and I answered questions until they got where I filled going a little to far. I wasn’t in there get a new primary Doctor I was there to get a Dot physical and PA kept asking questions and I finally told her... read more
