Had solar panels installed at my house in South Philly. Saving money overall. Had a great experience with Solar States and would highly recommend them. They won't BS you, they're straightforward, the installation process is easy, and they're very communicative and helpful.
we have had solar panels for at least 5 years. Still very happy with them, no maintenance needed, and electric bills are very minimal April to October.
Do not invite this company to your neighborhood. Their drivers blow through stop signs while children are standing in the crosswalk. They are dangerous nuisance to the neighborhood when they’ve been invited in to install solar. They are unsafe to the neighborhood and community. I called to communicate and speak with someone in charge about how this issue could be resolved in the customer service representative hung up the phone. When I first made my inquiry in February of 2025, Solar States sent Jesse out who spent hours answering my questions prior to my decision to sign a contract, after having researched and met with two other solar installation companies. I had to ‘get under the hood’ so to speak and did hours of my own research about how solar works and how the Federal tax credit would work, with clarification from Jesse, before signing on with Solar States.
