The staff and doctor were wonderful. Like most emergency clinics, the wait was long, but the level of care we received made it worth it. The team was compassionate, professional, and truly focused on helping our pet. I especially appreciated how understanding they were about costs. Brought my dog here few months ago for surgery. Handed me a $11,000 fee which I was able to pay them. After 2 days the stitches opened and had to take my baby back and the Vet decided to have it stapled back. When I asked why it was not performed the first time instead of stitches he just said dogs are playful the move so it opened. Then why not do the staples to cover the wound instead of stitch the very first time? Now I know why.. Because, when I took my baby back, they charged me again for the staples! I took my beloved dog in Sunday evening and after a $1300 bill was sent home with a bottle of antibiotics and told she was stable. I even called back that evening and told them she was still panting, and was told that was normal. By the next day my baby was gone! My family and I are devasted by her sudden loss, and while she was worth every penny...being mislead and overcharged given her dire condition was unnecessarily callous and irresponsible and monetarily advantageous on behalf of this business.
I brought in my senior cat, Frank, into the ER after he showed signs of a urinary blockage. Once I got there, they gave him sedatives and unblocked him. At this point, his prognosis was good but then Dr. Price informed me my cat had not recovered well after the sedatives. His breathing was poor and they found aspiration pneumonia via x-ray. They also incidentally found a mass in my cat. They told me the respiratory issues were due to the mass even though he had not had breathing symptoms before the sedative.
