My husband and I love this company and their products. We got introduced to it by Rick, who is very friendly and knowledgeable about solar systems. After meeting with him, we got the performance blanket, the fans for the attic, and solar panels. We noticed right away that the performance blanket made the temperature in the house more even throughout the house. We have used Sol Solutions in the past. They put new insulation in the attic, insulation blanket under the house, and put a ductless unit in the family room. They added two solar fans one in the attic and the other under the house to move air. We noticed an immediate difference. We had a couple of rooms in our house that were always too hot or too cold and since having a blanket installed the temperatures are more balanced and our home holds the temperature for longer. The dinner seminar was incredibly informative, our sales rep was attentive answered our questions and was thorough in his assessment. Okay let me tell you, being a first-time homeowner there is so much information. Sol Solutions Today's Building Biology seminar taught us so much about our home we never knew. This should be a course that ALL homeowners attend. One of the things we really wanted to look into solar power. DO NOT hire Sol Solutions Today (aka Sol Solutions, etc etc). They have a presentation that seems like the products could be a good deal and valuable to your home, but the Insulation Blanket and Solar Fans are HIGHLY overpriced (based on product checks on Alibaba, Amazon, and at HomeDepot) and honestly do not seem to work now that I've had them installed and summer is upon us again. From the day we were invited to a great dinner with Sol solutions at McCormicks,& Schmicks restaurant, right here in Bellevue. Jamie was our lead man and very good young man too.. We enjoyed the dinner, . we enjoyed the presentation on Solar units.. The main thing was, we were looking for was an alternate to forced air heating and some Air conditioning, for our home.... My wife and I are over 70 years old. We had a $400 per month utility bill. I thought solar panels would help. When we went to Sol Solutions presentation we learned about their blanket and performance upgrades. We thought the information was eye opening and agreed that it made sense to update the whole home instead of just focusing on solar. Just be careful doing business with SolSolutions. We were promised an expedited install date for two solar attic fans, a small job for them. Our acceptance of the deal was contingent on this due to a near travel date which couldn’t be postponed. They cancelled the install twice then attempted to re-schedule a third time. At this point we had had enough and cancelled the install. We were given the ok to cancel via a phone call to Rick *******, district manager of SolSolutions. He agreed to a refund for the charges. We apologize for the miscommunication and inability to find a time to handle to installation of your fans. Since then, we issued a refund back in November to resolve the matter. We pride ourselves on timely installs, however this is one of those instances where we failed to provide a reasonable time-frame for the install. Thank you for your patience on this matter and glad that we could resolve this while taking some leanings to adapt in our installation process.r
