I’ve called five times and emailed twice requesting my medical records, and I still have not received them. Under HIPAA, I have a legal right to access my records within a reasonable time frame, yet I’ve been completely ignored. This is unacceptable, and I would strongly caution others to consider this lack of basic communication and accountability.
