I’m a new client and have been cancelled on 3 times for the past month by Melissa Cardinal. I still have not been able to do an intake. I’m told it’s for personal reasons. If you need to take time off work take time off work and don’t continue to have availability. This is not the type of job you can continuously call out of with same day notice. I recently had a disappointing experience with SoHo MD. I called to cancel my appointment a day in advance, but they still attempted to charge me a $150 cancellation fee. This policy feels unreasonable, especially given the ample notice I provided. It’s unfortunate that they prioritize fees over customer service. I would have expected more flexibility and understanding in this situation. I won’t be returning and would caution others to be aware of their strict and unfair cancellation policies.
This place is absolute trash. I have been a patient here for over four years and suddenly they cannot be reached. They billed me wrong, so I have called countless times and left countless messages. I have emailed and sent messages through their terrible portal. They are ignoring everything. STAY AWAY from these scammers Edit: I don't know how to reply to the "response from the owner." This company should be shut down. You should be ashamed of yourselves treating patients the way you do. If anyone is reading this, run, run far away. Shame on you SohoMD, this worst medical establishment I’ve ever been associated with. Epically bad. If you value your mental health, go anywhere else!
This is the kind of practice you hope people don't go to as their first experience with therapy or mental health services. The staff is pretty much unreachable and you're lucky if you can get the answering service to reach out on your behalf. You'd think their app/messaging system would make things easy and efficient, but they've claimed to be switching over to a "new system" for months now and use that as an excuse when they take too long to get back to you or fail to altogether.
