I was really disappointed with the shrimp scampi I received. The dish was sitting in a very large amount of melted butter/oil, to the point that the pasta and shrimp were submerged in it. It was so rich that I developed a stomachache almost immediately and wasn’t able to enjoy the meal. I asked our waitress if this was how the dish was normally served, and she seemed unsure and went to ask the chef. Another wonderful dinner at Sogno. The service is always excellent. Our appetizers and dinners were excellent. The food is delicious and authentic. One of our favorite places.
Was met by Dan, who gave us options on a preferred table. Atmosphere is perfect; comfortable wood tables/chairs with nice background music. Started with wines followed by very fresh bread. Had to try the meatball appetizer, which was delicious and we are meatball critics! The accompanying sauce was perfect. Our dining experience at Sogno was amazing! The atmosphere is inviting and charming. We loved the background music. Our Server Danny did an exceptional job and his accent added the extra touch! Our Prosecco was served in beautiful Waterford flutes. We thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms appetizer.
