Last month my 11 year old laptop started failing. I'd had it repaired a couple of years ago but the place that repaired it was no longer in business. I found Marvin and he assured me it was way past time to replace (it should not have even been repaired a couple of years ago). He learned about my usage and gave me some recommendations for buying a new laptop. He also gave some useful information such as not attempting to reload Photoshop Elements v12 onto Windows 11 (wipes out the OS). I wanted to pay him for his consulting ... read more
Marvin has been my "go to" tech for many years. I honestly don't know what I would do without him. He's helped me through every time I've turned to him for help with my computer. His computer knowledge is to be admired as well as his understanding of what is needed. I am grateful that I found him.
Marvin Somerton of Softserve PC's has solved MANY computer problems I have had, mostly remotely, but sometime on site. He has even helped with with editing my YouTube channel! He is a marvel of skill and knowledge and is a nice guy to boot. His wife Rita is also fine when she schedules on site appointments for him.
I could not have asked for a better experience. Marvin was thorough and informative- but not too informative for those of us who aren’t particularly computer savvy or interested. He set up my new work laptop transferred files, cleaned things up, etc.. He was patient with my frustration and generous with his time and expertise. Cannot recommend him more confidently or enthusiastically.
