The office was fine. The staff was friendly. The doctor was informative and helpful I will be seeing him again. But when checking out they don’t give you any kind of paperwork as to what had been discussed or the type of treatment received which I find extremely odd. I did call because I thought it must have been forgotten but was told that they don’t have that capability of electronic read outs so there is no kind of reference or way to keep track of what’s going on through the treatment. I had my left shoulder done in 2017 & my right shoulder done in 2021. Both were rotator cuff tears. My shoulders are good as new . Would strongly recommend Dr Soffer to do surgery. He is excellent!
After initial visit and x-ray to determen the severity of my shoulder problem Dr. Soffer and i had a consoltation on what was the best way to handle my problem. We decided a complete shoulder replacement was necessary. Dr. Soffer is the best orthopedic surgeon in the Reading area. He fixed my broken arm and wrist with almost no pain, and saved my motion. My care was so exceptional from the emergency appointment and scheduled surgery to the follow up care. Berkshire Orthopedics is the only place my family and I will go, if needed. If I have to experience the pain of a broken bone, I will definitely chose Dr. Soffer to help me through it.
I have been treated for knee pain and injury by Dr. Soffer on two separate occasions over 12 years apart - each time with very good results following arthroscopic surgery for meniscus tears. Had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee with Dr. Soffer. Everything went well and I was back at work in 2 weeks. Highly recommend.
There is nothing but great things to say about Dr. Soffer. Been dealing with chondromalacia patella for over a year and once I was seen by him, he knew exactly what to do. Did surgery and had a great outcome. Dr. Soffer is overall the best doctor I have been seen by. I’d rate him an 11/10!
Consult w/Dr. Soffer 8 wks ago for a torn tendon in my shoulder. I had quite a few scratched open sores on my arms from anxiety that turned into habit. He informed me I definitely needed surgery but he could not perform it until I cleared up my arms and stated he was referring me to a psychiatrist. Dr Soffer did a great job on my surgery. He completed arthroscopic surgery on my knee on May 3. By May 4 I was already putting pressure on my leg and within 4 days I was able to walk well and bend my knee at a 90 degree angle with no discomfort. I recommend his services for Orthopedic issues.
