Rolla, though an hour and a half away, is THE best option for a visit to a SSA office. Polite, efficient, helpful employees... it's worth the drive!
Well they can't get place of employment right for a government agency so, that's sad. I stayed on hold for 2 hours. It looks like a friend and I will be driving up their to get the information right.. that pretty pathetic.
The security guard was polite and friendly and I really appreciated that, unfortunately the office worker that was supposed to help me with my last name change came off rude, she also spoke fast and quiet so I had a difficult time following along with everything she was explaining. I wanted to ask a few questions but when I asked her about what she meant by benefits she seemed irritated with me so I just stayed quiet and nodded until it was over.
