If you're not a celebrity, don't bother coming. the nurses and staff seem miserable, unfriendly, uncaring, impatient. not to mention, they overcharge for services that end up with no results!
His product pushing is not to be believed. Some of the stuff can be bought on the outside by prescription on one's insurance for far less $, but here there's an attempt to have everybody pay retail to some on-site dispensary. After an hour's wait, entered the room and wasn't even told to don a robe. Surprise was then expressed that I was there for a medical visit. (Well he is a doctor. Isn't he? As opposed to a professional Fraxel laser technician?) Expect to be annoyed….total turn-off.
Very disappointed. Sell sell sell, that's all he's about. Did not do a good job. Explained what I wanted for my final result and I wound up with something different. Went to another doctor to have his work (fillers) corrected. Fast talker, quick seller, makes you think he's all about you but I realized he's not, and it's all about business.. Sad.
Felt really rushed the 3 times I went in. Went for a silikon 1000 treatment for my lips and didn't get the result I wanted. Had a bad reaction to the silikon and told me that I had to pay to get a steroid injection to reduce the bump on my lip from HIS product!!? Unbelievable... Save your money!! Only thing that was good was the sweet front desk ladies, thats it!
I am done with Dr. Sobel. The lipo he did on my abdomen had to be re-done because it was so lumpy. Blame me for going back - but I thought he can't mess up botox. I now have a paralyzed lip and a crooked smile. I have been known for my smile. I also am a public speaker and my speech is impaired. Thankfully, I think this stuff wears off. The fraxel lazer he keeps telling me is a must with my freckles - I have told him a number of times that he did that already. botched my botox and left me with drooping eyelids plus overcharged me
Dr. Sobel is the absolute WORST dermatologist. Not only did he have a terrible bed-side manner, but his lack of thoroughness was extremely disappointing. He only tried to push his products. My husband and I went to visit him, and he didn't even ask any questions about our medical history. Barely examined us and simply recommended his products. And he's totally overpriced for cosmetic services. I implore all readers to avoid his so-called practice. PS- his products made our faces break out beyond belief.
Horrible experience! He tries to get as much money as possible from you and does not care about his patients.
My face got puffy after applying something I didn’t know I was allergic to. I went to Dr. Sobel and gave me a few lotions to help my skin go back to normal. He did his job fast and efficiently. I’m a very satisfied customer.
