As a parent, I have very mixed feelings about our experience at So Cal Thunder. On the positive side, my daughter genuinely loved her coaches and grew tremendously during her time there. The coaching staff is very talented, knowledgeable, and experienced. Coach Hanna, in particular, was a huge part of why our experience was positive. So Cal Thunder has been such a blessing! We absolutely love their new location — it’s huge, with plenty of space for the athletes to train comfortably. The equipment is great, there’s lots of parking, and they even have a nice parent waiting area with tables if you need to work while your child practices. My daughter has been with SoCalThinder for the past 2 years, and we’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience. I really wanted to like this gym since it's the most convenient for all-star cheer, but the experience was a mess. The owner fueled drama between kids and parents instead of handling conflicts professionally, even gossiping about other families. Billing was chaotic — after weeks of trying to fix errors, she charged my card without permission.
