Great ice cream, Good-to-okay food, Weird service After Snuffy's was voted one of the best burger joints in the Twin Cities by the Twin Cities' annual restaurant magazine, I had to try it. I wasn't that impressed with the burgers, to be honest, especially not after having read about their being (almost) the best in the entire Twin Cities region. They WERE good. Like Stepping back in time Snuffy's has a great 1950's malt shop feel. It seems that every time I go there are fun local High School students working there and the shop does a lot to support youth programs in the community. The food is what you'd expect from a malt shop, tasty but greasy. But the malts are what you go in for they are delicious.
excellent i came here during the week around 2pm, so it wasn't busy. The dining is a little inexpensive, but the service and the malts were great. this is a great place to bring the kids
Best Malts This is one of the restaurants I have missed dearly since moving. They were conveniently just down the road and could always be counted on for a tasty dinner or treat. The have a fun jute box and amazing malts. You even get the metal cup they are made in. Like all malt shops there food is a little greasy, but it would be bad if it wasn't. When we visit friends in the area this is one of the places we will be returning to.
Home Town Malt Shop My family moved away from Minnetonka 2 years ago and we still talk about how much we miss Snuffy's Malt Shop. It's nostalgic decor and corner-diner fare make it a great place to plug in a few quarters to the jukebox and sip one of the many choices of over abundant malts. If you want some great grill food, this it also place to bring friends. Healthy it is not, but great food is what it has! I wish I was there right now!
